Bamboo the Crocodile Monitor (Varanus salvadorii) is a large arboreal monitor lizard from New Guinea known as one of the world’s longest lizards with a tail that can be twice the length of its body. It’s characterized by a blunt snout sharp teeth and dark green yellow spotted skin and is an agile climber that preys on birds, mammals, and eggs in its rainforest habitat.
