On June 27, the “Big Red One” and Flint Hills community said goodbye to the division’s acting senior commander, Brig. Gen. Patrick Frank. Frank, who is finishing his second assignment at Fort Riley, is headed to U.S. Army Fort Knox, where he will serve as the deputy commanding general for the U.S. Army Cadet Command (ROTC).
