Three new schools opened their doors in Swindon for the first time last week. William Morris Primary in Tadpole Garden Village, Badbury Park Primary in Badbury Park and The Deanery Church of England Academy secondary in Wichelstowe all welcomed pupils with open arms. Christmas arrived at Lydiard Park this evening with the annual lights switch-on event. 🎄🎅❄️ The lights on the park’s magnificent cypress tree in front of Lydiard House Museum were turned on by the Mayor of Swindon, Councillor Fay Howard, and attendees were also able to enjoy seasonal food and drink as well as live music and dancing from Lydiard Park Academy pupils.
