Northern Beaches Council has announced plans to reopen beaches tomorrow though each beach will be assessed individually by lifeguards before opening. A number of large swim events sic as @the_big_swim and @sydneyharboursplash have announced cancellations however Manly’s @coleclassicswim is still scheduled to go ahead on 1 Feb. Meanwhile, @lifelinenb.shops has set up a presence near @northsteyneslsc to provide support for the general community who may need help processing recent traumatic events.
