Can't connect new Outlook to my AOL email account
Oct 27, 2023 · The New Outlook is in Beta, and as far as I know is, as yet, only compatible with Microsoft(Outlook) Mail and Gmail. A mouse over of the Try switch in the Mail App should say that. It is a replacement in late 2024, so best to stick with the Mail App for the moment.

Jan 6, 2025 · Now they're forcing everyone to use the (new) Outlook App for Windows, but the notifications just don't work the same. I have notifications turned on in Windows for the app, plus notifications turned on in the app itself for the calendar. However, the only way I can get them to work is when the app is open. Once I close it, they don't work.
