Jun 28, 2024 · BSD has great striking offense, negative striking defense, but I think Moicano is the better grappler. That leaves BSD needing to overwhelm Moicano on the feet before his lack of defense catches up (could easily happen chin v. chin), or BSD finds out the hard way that he grappled with the wrong guy.

Feb 4, 2024 · Moicano was just gut punching and trying to (and mostly failing) to advance position. The last pure grappler I remember Dober fighting was actively submission hunting and got it. Granted that grappler is now the champ so not necessarily on Moicano’s level.

Nov 19, 2022 · Hooker’s definitely slowing down but I still think it would be a tricky match up for Moicano. Moicano’s used to being the rangier fighter so fighting an even longer guy might give him some trouble, plus Hooker is a pretty good counter wrestler and is no slouch on the ground. Basically, Hooker can be very competitive in Moicano’s best areas.

Moicano is very good on the ground, definitely good enough to severely limit Paddy's game and force him to stand up, where Moicano is likely better. However even though Dober is a much stronger striker, his ground game is his biggest weakness by far so there's at least the potential for a very narrow path to victory for Paddy if he can just ...
