The Nintendo Switch 2's preorder date in Canada has been re-announced, and we finally have pricing confirmation for games and accessories.

Nintendo has announced a new date for when Switch 2 preorders will kick off in the US; April 24th. As a part of the announcement, Nintendo said that the price of the Switch 2 will remain at $449.99 despite fears that the Trump administration’s new tariff policy would lead to increased pricing for the console.

Currently, the Switch 2 is still set to launch in the United States and Canada on June 5, and Nintendo has yet to raise prices on the Switch 2. While some had speculated the higher price for the new console was because of tariffs, Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser denied the $450 price tag was the result of the tariffs.
