New York Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has made the decision to start veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 12. Justin Fields has officially been benched following his latest lackluster performance. Despite that, Glenn isn't ready to make multiple changes to his quarterback depth chart.

An update on Kris Boyd's condition was provided on Wednesday as the New York Jets player continues to recover from being wounded in a shooting

New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd said he is "starting to breathe on my own now" days after he was shot in Manhattan early Sunday morning.

Kris Boyd, who was shot in New York City early Sunday, signed a one-year deal with the Jets in March but suffered a season-ending shoulder surgery.

In March, Boyd, a defensive cornerback and specialty teams player, signed a one-year, $1.6 million contract to play for the Jets, according to the team. He suffered a season-ending shoulder injury during team scrimmage in August and hasn't played since.

Boyd was shot in the abdomen in Midtown Manhattan and rushed to the hospital, where he is listed in critical but stable condition.

The New York Jets are on the road in Baltimore, Maryland for the 11th game of their 2025 campaign. They will be taking on the Baltimore Ravens. The game is scheduled to start at 1:00 pm EST.
