Former Reading High star Lonnie Walker IV has signed to play with EuroLeague powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv, according to several reports. Walker, a 6-4 shooting guard who played for the Sixers last season after they signed him midway through the year, had spent the first part of last year playing for Lithuania’s Basketball Club Žalgiris.

The shooting guard’s deal includes an NBA buyout clause until Aug. 1. The contract also features buyout options for July 15, 2026, and July 15, 2027.

The Philadelphia 76ers brought Lonnie Walker IV back over to the NBA at the trade deadline after he had began the season overseas. A former first-round pick of the San Antonio Spurs back in 2018, Walker spent six seasons in the league before going overseas, and the Sixers brought him back on a deal.
