David Hekili Kenui Bell — the actor known for his brief but memorable “shave ice” cameo in Disney’s live-action Lilo & Stitch — died suddenly on June 12 on Hawai‘i Island. Two months later, the Hawai‘i Police Department released his completed autopsy report, shedding new light on the circumstances surrounding his death.

The report further identified stasis dermatitis, a skin condition affecting the legs due to poor circulation, and edema, or swelling caused by accumulated fluid in the lower extremities. A toxicology screen showed no notable traces of drugs or alcohol in his system.
