Karate Kid Legends follows Li Fong's journey in New York City as he competes in a karate tournament under the guidance of Mr Han and Daniel LaRusso.

The most dramatic moment in “ Karate Kids: Legends ” is its final fight – a 12-minute sequence called the Five Boroughs Tournament that takes place on the roof of a New York City skyscraper.

Making the leap from the lead in Disney+'s American Born Chinese to Karate Kid: Legends, Wang has to deal not only with balancing teen drama with fight choreography, but also standing up to iconic martial arts movie stars, all while making a karate kid his own.
