What many fans may not remember is that, after being deemed "retired" by WWE in 2013, Ross returned in 2017, calling the main event of WrestleMania 33 between The Undertaker and Roman Reigns.
The 67-year-old Ross started working for McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment in 1993, but his wrestling broadcasting career started in 1974. Ross briefly left WWE in 2013, only to return in 2017.
Ross also mentioned several other things, including the time he was let go by the WWE in the early 2000s. Ross said he found out about the company's plan to let him go as the process was going along.
Ross, who worked for WWE for 26 years, also has a new podcast with Conrad Thompson, “Grilling JR,” where Ross gives his unique perspective on wrestling events and stars of the past.
