Ford’s turbulent recall streak continues into the second half of 2025, with the automaker issuing a fresh recall that affects more than 312,000 vehicles due to a potentially serious brake issue.

The latest in a series of recalls by Ford targets 312,120 2025 model-year vehicles that may have an issue with the electronic brake booster system.

"The Electronic Brake Booster (EBB) module may enter into a faulted state while driving, resulting in a loss of brake boost until the EBB module completes a sleep cycle when the vehicle is off. This faulted state can also occur when the driver is utilizing an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) feature," the recall filing reads.
