The Federal Aviation Administration has issued delays and grounded flights across major Northeastern airports on Thursday due to thunderstorms.

Thunderstorms prompted ground stops and delays at LaGuardia, John F. Kennedy and Newark airports. A ground stop was issued at LaGuardia at 2:30 p.m. and Newark just before, according to the FAA.
