It's Qualifying Day on the streets of Monte Carlo as Formula One sets the grid for Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc, the Monaco native who won last year's race, enters after a setting the best course time in Friday practice.
McLaren's Lando Norris snatched pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix from local hero Charles Leclerc's Ferrari with the final lap of qualifying.
Out in Q1: Leclerc has taken the top spot ahead of Piastri and Norris. He claims the top spot currently in Q1 with the timing of 1:11.229. In the drop zone we currently have: Lawson, Hadjar, Hulkenberg, Colapinto and Gasl.
Ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix both Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar talked about getting their first taste of the Monaco Grand Prix as an F1 driver. Don’t look now but both drivers seemed up to the challenge, even if Hadjar had to deal with some moments that left him “scared.”
