Now helping the Packers: a familiar face for Bears fans.

Luke Getsy is returning to the roots and helping the Green Bay Packers after getting fired as the Las Vegas Raiders' offensive coordinator earlier this season.

For the first time in his 12-year NFL career, Keenan Allen is set to become a free agent. Since he was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2013, Allen received contract extensions before he could become a free agent, and then was traded to the Chicago Bears last offseason for the final year of his current deal.

He said Friday he’d be open to playing for either the Chargers or Rams next year; if he decides to sign a new deal with the Bears, Allen said he’d at least consider moving his family to the Chicago area.

Keenan Allen has had a rocky season with the Bears and he could leave for another team next season if he chooses to.
