Three new schools across the region will see new principals this year. In Hillsborough County, Allison Wright, assistant principal for curriculum at Brandon High School, will become the principal.

The construction of a new Detroit Pershing High School building will move the football team down 7 Mile to the SAY Detroit Play Center at Lipke Park.
