Even after 11 years of coaching him, Steve Kerr continues to amaze himself with Stephen Curry’s competitive spirit. This was no different after the Golden State Warriors’ 103-89 victory against the Houston Rockets in Game 7 of the West First Round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs on Sunday night.

And one of the signs that things would be different in Game 7 was the way Green opened that game—knocking down shots, playing strong defense on the interior and keeping his emotions in check. Green finished with 16 points on 7-for-15 shooting, with six rebounds and five assists, as the Warriors knocked off Houston, 103-89.
