Special Olympics Texas hosted their 5th annual kickball tournament for athletes across the region on Saturday, June 21.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says one person was airlifted from a crash on US 287 earlier Tuesday.

Recent Childress grad, Taylor Wiseman, competed at the Nike Outdoor Nationals over the weekend and became a national champion in the discus.
