Ronald Acuña Jr. will be in the Braves’ lineup this weekend. In fact, it looks like Acuña will be activated before Atlanta begins a three-game series against San Diego on Friday.

Ronald Acuna Jr. and his wife Maria Laborde met in 2019 through mutual friends and established a relationship soon after. They welcomed their first son, also named Ronald, in 2020. To avoid visa expiries during a hectic postseason, the couple got married in 2023.

Playing his first game in nearly a calendar year on Friday night, the former National League MVP went 2-for-4 with a home run as the Atlanta Braves lost to the San Diego Padres.
