At least five new wildfires ignited along Colorado's Western Slope over the weekend, bringing the total number of wildfires burning across state and federal lands to nine.

The fire was first reported to Cal Fire at about 12:30 p.m. and is burning near the small unincorporated community of Ribbonwood.
