The New York Knicks stunned the NBA world this week by parting ways with head coach Tom Thibodeau, just days after their Eastern Conference Finals exit at the hands of the Indiana Pacers.

Tom Thibodeau and the New York Knicks ended up losing a hard-fought series in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Indiana Pacers last week. It was an incredibly entertaining series, but the Knicks simply did not have enough to pull out the win.

The group of Hart, Bridges, Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby and Karl-Anthony Towns had a net rating of minus-6.2 in the postseason, per NBA.com. Thibodeau finally made a change ahead of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, replacing Hart with Mitchell Robinson, but by that point, the Knicks were already in an 0-2 hole.
