Liverpool have reportedly reached an ‘agreement’ over the signing of Alexander Isak from Newcastle this summer. Isak is a dream target for Liverpool and it’s been widely reported that he prefers a move to Anfield amid interest from Saudi Arabia after informing his current club of his intention to ‘explore’ an exit this summer.

It has since emerged that Liverpool are still eager to land Isak, who is desperate to force a move away from Newcastle. He has not travelled with the Magpies squad on their pre-season tour and is reported to be training on his own. The situation is yet to resolve itself but Liverpool are thought to be making progress behind the scenes.
