A clash between one of the nation’s most unqualified federal prosecutors and one of its most celebrated constitutional scholars spilled into public view.

The school's dean argues the First Amendment "guarantees that the government cannot direct what Georgetown and its faculty teach and how to teach it."

Trump appointee Ed Martin made the claim in a letter to the Georgetown University law school dean. Martin has called the school a “locus” of anti-Trump activity.
