On Friday, Donovan Mitchell, the face of the Cavs, was named to the All-NBA first team for the first time in his career. Evan Mobley, the franchise’s future, earned All-NBA second team honors in just his fourth season.

Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell took a step back during the regular season. He received a greater reward. While the Cavs didn’t get nearly as far as they hoped during the playoffs, there’s no denying that Mitchell was fantastic all the way through.

It's the first such honor for Mobley and the second for Mitchell, who also made the first team for the first time in his career.
