An E. coli outbreak linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounders has led to at least 49 illnesses across 10 states, including one death.

McDonald's Quarter Pounders are being linked to a multi-state outbreak of E. coli, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. At least one person has died and 49 people have fallen ill, including 10 that have been hospitalized across 10 states as of Wednesday, Oct. 23.
