The Chicago Bears have made an announcement on Green Bay Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich's candidacy for their head coach job.

The Bears announced they have completed a head coach interview with Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich.

Packers offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich was the latest candidate to meet with the team. The Bears announced the completion of that interview on Saturday afternoon. The Bears also interviewed Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores on Saturday, so there was no shortage of NFC North representation on hand.

Adam Stenavich and Brian Flores both have challenges to overcome and convincing to do if they hope to secure a finalist spot for Bears head coach.

Flores’ Vikings finished fifth in the NFL in scoring defense and tied for the league lead in turnovers. They were tied for fourth in the league in sacks on the backs of Flores’ blitzing scheme. Bears quarterback Caleb Williams called him the “King of the Cover 0 blitz” earlier this season.

The Seahawks interviewed Adam Stenavich, the Packers offensive coordinator, for their open offensive coordinator and playcaller position.

Seattle has met with Packers OC Adam Stenavich, Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports reports. Stenavich just finished his sixth season in Green Bay, and with the team out of contention for the Super Bowl he could be hired away at any time. It will be interesting to see if a second interview is arranged in the near future.
