Vrabel said on sports radio WEEI that he has a "long list" and confirmed it includes former Las Vegas Raiders head coach and Patriots coordinator Josh McDaniels, who still lives in the region and last worked with the Patriots in 2021 when he worked wonders with then-rookie Mac Jones.

That conversation reportedly led to the Raiders passing on interviewing Vrabel altogether. However, according to Vrabel, that might not have been specifically how things went.
John Streicher will reunite with Mike Vrabel with the Patriots, Mike Reiss of ESPN reports. Streicher spent six seasons in Tennessee with Vrabel, serving as assistant to the head coach (2018-19), football development coordinator (2020-22) and director of football administration (2023).
The Patriots have already gotten off to a fast start in the offseason as the first team to hire a new head coach. With Mike Vrabel now in place, they can get a head start on building the staff beneath him.
According to Reiss, sources around the NFL also expect former Titans strength coach Frank Piraino to join Vrabel in New England. Pieraino was the Titans strength and conditioning coach from 2019-2022. In 2023, he became Tennesse’s director of sports performance.
