Tyrese Haliburton is recovering from a right Achilles tear suffered in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. He had surgery the following day.

Haliburton suffered the injury in the first quarter of Indiana's 103-91 defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the 2025 NBA Finals. He scored nine points on 3-of-5 shooting in his first seven minutes on the floor before exiting the contest. The two-time All-Star underwent surgery on June 23.

Tyrese Haliburton will not play next season for the Indiana Pacers. At least, that’s the official company line. After tearing his Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, it’s hard to imagine Haliburton coming back early.
