Celebrate July Fourth aboard the historic USS Silversides, commemorating 80 years since WWII with a unique engine rev-up.

For the first time in decades, the USS Silversides received an oil change. The maintenance got the ship ready for its ceremonial engine start this Fourth of July.

To honor this, as well as celebrate Independence Day, the submarine will have a special engine start in Muskegon this weekend.
