CentOS replacement Rocky Linux 8.4 arrives, and proves instantly popular Rocky Linux 8.4 is the first general availability release of the new enterprise Linux distribution.

CentOS 8 shipped September 2019, rapidly after RHEL 8, and CentOS Stream was announced and released as an early look at what was coming in the next minor update.

CloudLinux will provide updates and support for CentOS 8 through December 31, 2025.
