The Arizona Diamondbacks have decided to dive headfirst into selling at the 2025 MLB trade deadline. After dealing Josh Naylor and Randal Grichuk, Eugenio Suarez and their top pitchers are likely next.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are reportedly open to trading starting pitchers Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly. According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Diamondbacks' "initial preference" was to trade either Gallen or Kelly but both players could end up experiencing a change of scenery "if the team receives strong enough offers."

The Diamondbacks have shown they would also not like to put Gallen in the discussion. Arizona has been reluctant to make any trades, as the team has hoped it would still remain viable for a playoff berth before the end of July. It looks more unlikely that Arizona will have a chance this season to play in the postseason.
