WrestleMania 42 will no longer take place in New Orleans in 2026, per numerous reports, with a shock location apparently the frontrunner to replace the “Big Easy”.

In front of the New Orleans crowd, Johnson announced that Wrestlemania 42 would be back in Louisiana at the Super Bowl. The dates, April 11 and April 12, are now locked in for the two-day event.

The new location or dates for WrestleMania 42 has not been announced, although WrestleMania has moved to being held in mid-April. USA TODAY Sports has reached out to WWE and TKO for more information.
