A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, from detaining accused MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia upon his release from criminal custody in Tennessee.

The native of El Salvador, who was mistakenly sent to his home country earlier this year, will for now remain in custody in Tennessee, where he faces criminal charges.

Xinis said she is 'deeply concerned' that without restraint, the Trump administration will seek to hurry Abrego Garcia out of the country for a second time.
