The grocery chain, known for its instant ethnic meals and trendy snacks, will now have nine locations in Nevada, three of those in Washoe County. It has more than 555 stores across the U.S.

SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - A new Trader Joe’s will be opening in Sparks later this week. The new location will be opening this Thursday at 185 Los Altos Parkway in the Sparks Crossing Shopping Center. The 13,000 square foot store is the first in the Sparks area and the ninth in the state of Nevada. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m.

Trader Joe’s is opening two new stores this month in fast-growing population centers. The retailer announced that it is welcoming shoppers to locations in Sparks, Nevada, near Reno, and in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., near Charleston.
