Today it became official, Zane Smith will drive for Front Row Motorsports this season, and the management couldn’t be happier. When Smith and FRM parted ways after the 2023 NASCAR season, it wasn’t a decision either side made lightly.

Zane Smith will drive the No. 38 Ford as Front Row Motorsports' third NASCAR Cup Series entry in 2025. The team announced a multiyear agreement with the former Truck Series champion on Thursday. Front Row Motorsports purchased the charter for a third vehicle from now-defunct Stewart-Haas Racing.

Zane Smith will return to Front Row Motorsports to continue his Cup career, the team announced Thursday. Ryan Bergenty will be Smith’s crew chief. Smith won the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series championship with Front Row Motorsports before he signed with Trackhouse Racing for the 2024 Cup season.

Zane Smith will join Noah Gragson and the returning Todd Gilliland at Front Row Motorsports in the NASCAR Cup Series next season. Smith is reunited with the organization that he delivered a Craftsman Truck Series championship to in 2022.
