A man faces murder charges after a road rage incident in Catawba County left one dead and three children unharmed.

One man is dead and another is in custody after a road rage incident sparked a shooting in Catawba County Saturday evening.

Jeffrey Michael Guida, 40, was shot and killed by Terrell Giddens, police say, but his three children were unharmed

Jeffery Michael Guida's three children - ages 2, 11 and 13 - were in the car when the suspect shot their dad and then shot at them, witnesses said.

A father traveling with his three kids was killed when another driver fired multiple shots at their car during “a road rage incident,” according to investigators in North Carolina. The suspect, a 75-year-old man, fled the scene, but was later captured with the help of witnesses, the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

The victim's three children, thirteen, eleven and two years old, were in the vehicle but were not physically hurt, according to authorities.
