Novak Djokovic has addressed an injury scare he suffered during his three-set comeback win at the Shanghai Masters on Friday. The world No. 4 stormed back to beat teenager Jakub Mensik 6-7 (4) 6-1 6-3. But he felt some discomfort as the match went on and started to grab his left leg, stretching it out.

Novak Djokovic dug out a 6-7(4) 6-1 6-4 win over Czech Jakub Mensik on Friday to advance to the semi-finals of the Shanghai Masters, where he will face Taylor Fritz. The four-times Shanghai champion managed to raise his level after losing the first set on a tiebreak and never looked back as he beat his 19-year-old opponent to enter the semi-finals for a ninth time.

Novak Djokovic proved his staying power on Friday, beating an opponent 18 years his junior 6-7 (4/7), 6-1, 6-4 to claim the last spot in the Shanghai Masters semi-finals.

The Serbian rallied form a set down to get the better of Czech Mensik, 18 years Djokovic's junior, in a 6-7 (4/7), 6-1, 6-4 triumph to seal his berth in the semifinal of the event in China.
