R ight-handed batter Sarfaraz Khan once again made everyone take notice of his talent, as he scored 150 crucial runs against New Zealand in the ongoing first Test at the M Chinnas

Addressing concerns regarding the fitness of Sarfaraz Khan, Suryakumar Yadav came down heavily on his critics and said Sarfaraz might look a bit fat but he has what it takes to score big hundreds. He revealed that Sarfaraz is working hard on his fitness and Rishabh Pant provided him with a chef who is managing his diet to help him achieve his goals.

Suryakumar Yadav lauded Sarfaraz Khan's work ethic and said that his looks may be deceiving as he can play for a long period of time and score big runs.

Sarfaraz said it was decided that they won't go for quick runs while batting with Pant but the excitement of getting to his maiden Test century got to him.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma gave a fitness update about Rishabh Pant, who was hit on his knee during the first Test vs New Zealand and did not keep for India. Rohit said Pant was not comfortable running and the team did not to push him beyond his limits which is why they decided to give him extra rest before the second test.

Suryakumar Yadav says, "His body type might make him look fat but if you ask him to bat 450 balls, score double hundred, triple hundred, daddy hundred, he has that skill."
