A pedestrian was injured and her dog killed when they were hit by a car which left the scene without stopping. Police were called to Underwood Lane, at the junction with Windsor Avenue in Crewe, Cheshire, at about 17:27 GMT on 17 December following reports of a white SUV-type vehicle failing to stop after a crash.

It occurred at around 9:40 p.m. near the 18600 block of W. Saticoy Street, according to Los Angeles Police Department.

A pedestrian was killed along a busy highway near Ozark Thursday night. Dale County Coroner John Cawley identified the victim as 73-year-old Willie Earl Jones of Ozark. Jones was hit around 8:30 p.m.
