Tens of thousands of people were without power across Palm Beach County Thursday morning as Hurricane Milton moved across the state. At 7 a.m., Florida Power & Light Co. reported about 57,000 customers in the county experiencing power outages -- about 7%. The company serves more than 800,000 households and businesses countywide.
