Modi said that India would first give a befitting response to a terrorist attack on its terms and take strict action at every place from where the roots of terrorism emerge

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that while Pakistan had planned to ignite war at the borders, India responded by striking at the very heart of the terror network through Operation Sindoor.

India's precision strikes against 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir which killed about 100 terrorists, codenamed Operation Sindoor, has set a new normal against terrorism, said prime minister Narendra Modi on Monday night.
