FAA Administrator Mike Whitaker posted in a blog on Friday that more work needs to be done at Boeing, even after a year a series of unprecedented steps to fix oversight of the company.

Boeing says it is reducing defects by increasing inspection points, introducing a customer quality approval process and using employee feedback to address items in commercial airplane production.
