Two individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, while the remaining 10 victims were taken to hospital, according to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services.

Two people have been killed and more than 20 injured in a New Year’s Eve fireworks display tragedy in Hawaii. Police said they had responded to a “fireworks-related” incident in the Salt Lake area of Honolulu this evening and there were “multiple casualties”.
