The National Weather Service has issued another Heat Advisory through 8 p.m. on Wednesday for most of Massachusetts.

A Heat Advisory is in effect until Wednesday in western Massachusetts, and many communities in the area are opening cooling centers to provide those in need.

A heat advisory is in effect starting at 12 p.m. today and continuing through 7 p.m. tomorrow due to a heat index value reaching up to 107 degrees. Today will be sunny with winds from the south around 5 to 10 mph and a high in the upper 90s.

A heat advisory will be in effect Monday and possibly Tuesday as temperatures and humidity climb across the Capital Region and Hudson Valley.
