Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman says his right wrist got dislocated late in the Western Conference final when he was hit by Dallas' Mason Marchment.

Oilers coach Kris Knoblauch said Wednesday that forward Zach Hyman requires surgery following the upper-body injury that knocked him out of Edmonton’s Game 4 win over the Dallas Stars in the Western Conference finals. He is not expected to be able to play for the remainder of the postseason.

“He’s a top player for us,” defenseman Brett Kulak said. “Tough to lose anybody, but especially he brings an element to the game and to our team that not too many guys around the league can bring to their team. It was tough to see him leave. Hopefully, he’s all right.”
