Bruckhart said officers found the bicyclist, a 24-year-old New Haven man, suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, according to Bruckhart. The man’s identity is being withheld until his family members have been notified. No other injuries were reported.
