News of the sole survivor of an Air India plane crash that killed the other 241 people aboard has led to endless fascination online.

Britain’s Viswashkumar Ramesh said he doesn’t know why he survived, while more than 200 others, including his brother, died. In India, he has become known as the miracle of window seat 11A.

It seemed impossible, but shortly after news broke that an Air India flight had crashed in the city of Ahmedabad, video started circulating on social media showing a man walking from the scene in a bloodstained shirt.
