Microsoft is open sourcing WPF, Windows Forms and Win UI via GitHub and making available the first public preview of Visual Studio 2019.

Microsoft today released .NET Core 3.0 and new versions of Visual Studio 2019 for Windows and Mac at its .NET Conf 2019 event.

With Visual Studio 2019 16.11 Preview 1, the first release of a new Hot Reload user experience is provided for editing code files such as WPF, Windows Forms, ASP.NET Core, and Console.

Microsoft announced the first preview of Visual Studio 2019 will be available before year's end, with general availability of the flagship IDE expected in the first half of 2019.
