Minecraft Java Edition players can use the new snapshot update to get a brand new block type that gives even more control to creators.

The latest is Snapshot 20w48a, which adds the fancy new dripstone block to Minecraft: Java Edition. This allows for the creation of stalagmites and stalactites in Minecraft's caves.

Minecraft: Java Edition Snapshot 22w45a is now available for players to test, and includes plenty of changes to Vex designs, the Creative Inventory, and more. There are also two new bamboo blocks.
